DESCRIPTION

A specialist fuel additive designed to improve the ‘burn

quality’ of domestic kerosene when used in range-style

cookers and boilers and/or where vaporising burners are

being utilised.

APPLICATION

Although the Char Value of domestic kerosene (BS2869:C2)

has an upper limit of 20mg/kg, field experience since 2008

indicates that for numerous reasons fuel is actually being

supplied with Char Values in the range 16-30mg/kg. The

situation is not improving and is having a serious negative

impact on the performance of range cookers (e.g. AGAs,

Rayburns, Waterford-Stanleys, etc), where carbon buildup

around the burner is now commonplace. This results

is variable heat output and poor controllability.
